Homing was my first time shooting colour film, making a book and having freedom to pursue a topic of my choosing without any limitations.  The project focused on the destruction of a building near where I live and all of the evicted pigeons that came from there. Fresh off of hours spent researching Fukase and his ravens. I felt inspired to create my own personal bird related project. Despite some strange looks at first the project proved to be a success and I was happy with my first project which I had full control over.
